our mission is to help dogs reclaim their environmental innocence.

to support this mission, we wanted to make products for dogs that are good for their health and more sustainable than conventional pet products. 

we understand the importance of making responsible choices when it comes to the products we use and the impact they have on the environment. that's why we've made the decision to use hemp in all of our products for dogs, instead of traditional nylon and other oil-based materials.

our comittment

at maimoa we are striving towards environmental excellence, but we're not there yet. our products are natural, our packaging is 100% compostable or recyclable and we do business with nature in mind. there are some things we would like to improve on, for example we partner with manufacturers in China to make our maimoa kit as they're been producing hemp for 100 years longer than the rest of the world and although we're happy with our partners, distance means our carbon footprint is not as low as we would like it to be. eventually we would like to bring the production of maimoa products to Aotearoa New Zealand and hopefully support a thriving hemp sector here. we endeavor to be transparent about our sustainability journey and to ensure maimoa is a business you will be proud to support
